Aside from launching its latest “GRUE” trio exhibition featuring Ben Edmunds, Minku Kim and Yves Scherer, Hong Kong creative space THE SHOPHOUSE has also put together a coffee experience workshop.
Leaning into the sphere of Food & Beverage, THE SHOPHOUSE is also launching its “raw coffee” experience workshop centered around demonstrating a primitive experience of coffee tasting. The experiential initiative brings together ceramics by Steve Harrison, coffee from Handyman Roasters and Phoenix Coffee Roastery, along with pastries from Plumcot Bakery.
Guided by Naam Yu, founder of Handyman Roasters, each two-hour session of “raw coffee” features a hands-on coffee roasting experience and hand brew coffee tasting. Coffee will be served by local baristas from Phoenix Coffee Roastetery, using an antique coffee grinder and coffee filter pots by Steve Harrison, accompanied by offerings by Plumcot Bakery. The experience workshop will run July 16, 23, 31 and August 6, 7 with three sessions per day, tickets can be found on Eventbrite.
